Responsible Gaming

This page sets out practical guidance for gambling with less risk, and states plainly what this site can and cannot do to help someone who wants to stop or take a break.

Help Organisations

Every page of this site, including this one, carries links to three independent gambling-help organisations: begambleaware.org, gamblingtherapy.org and gamcare.org.uk. These are the only outbound links on the site that are not commercial. Unlike the operator links, they carry no sponsored marking, they are set to nofollow, and they open in a separate tab on the organisations' own websites. This site receives nothing when a reader follows them.

Before You Play

Decide the amount you are willing to spend before you start, and treat that amount as already spent the moment you begin. Deciding in advance removes the pressure to make an in-the-moment judgement while a game is running, which is when decisions are least reliable.

Never chase a loss by increasing a stake to recover it. A loss is a result, not a signal that a win is due, and raising the stake only increases the size of the next possible loss.

Keep gambling out of money that has been borrowed or that is needed for other commitments. Spending only what was set aside for entertainment keeps the activity contained to that purpose.

Take breaks during a session rather than playing continuously. Stepping away gives you a chance to re-check whether you still want to continue on the same terms you set at the start.

If gambling stops feeling like entertainment, involve someone else early — a friend, a family member, or one of the organisations linked on this page. Raising it early, while stakes and stress are still small, makes it easier to act on.

Age Restriction

The eighteen-and-over restriction is repeated throughout this site, including on the front page and at the end of every operator listing.

Where Controls Actually Live

This site is a set of static files with no account, no form and no server-side application. Controls such as deposit caps, loss caps, reality checks, cooling-off periods or self-exclusion belong to an account held at an operator, and nothing published here can switch one on, check one or enforce one. Nobody's age is verified on this site and no gambling takes place on it; any such check happens at the destination after an operator link is followed. No advertising or behavioural profiling network is present in these pages, so nothing here is targeted at a reader based on prior behaviour.

Each of the ten operator listings ends with the same line: check availability and the current terms at the destination before claiming anything, because eligibility rules and terms apply there and can change without notice. Everything a reader can actually do with money happens after leaving this site — each operator link redirects to a third party, and from that point the destination's own rules, checks and account controls apply, not anything published here.
